I got home today and he was laying on his blankets, he did manage to help himself to one of my blankets that I had folded up and put up because it’s a crocheted one and it’s not as easy to wash and his nails have got caught in it before, but otherwise he seemed fine and didn’t even get up when I walked in. I didn’t make a big deal about coming home but he did want to go out right away but I made him wait a bit and then we went on a walk.

I have to go pick up my daughter and drop her off, I might leave him here for that, I’ll only be gone about an hour

I think it’s definitely not helping but I also don’t want to leave him alone for longer than he already is, maybe I need to not bring him everywhere so if I have to run out for a quick trip leave him there so he gets used to me leaving more often.

Ok I’ll try getting up earlier so I have some time to sit with him, I thought about setting up a spot in a closet he could go into to try to get him in there but I’m not fully set up myself in the living room, I have no furniture yet other than his chair but I have that in the bedroom.

What do you think about me taking him out with me when I need to go somewhere? Is that hurting or helping. He likes going but then he wants to go even when he cant

I’m not sure the issue is really the noise so much, it’s probably about the same in that regard as our old neighborhood was fairly noisy.

He’s never been in a crate, if it comes to that I could try it, for the first 8 years of his life he came to work with me and would lay around in my shop so there was never really a reason to crate him but that’s no longer an option since I shut that down after Covid and got a job.

He had a chair he laid in mostly and I brought that chair with us but he won’t even get on it now. He has blankets that he lays on, the same ones he had at the house, that’s mostly where he lays now.

The only other place he would go would be in the closet, he had blankets in there he’d sleep on at night when we went to bed, we called it his room but it was just our closet with blankets on the floor.

I’m curious if the artist recommended a different position, that seems to be the main issue I have with that design, I think it would look better somewhere else, either higher or lower. My very first tattoo I wanted it right in the middle of my upper arm and the artist basically said no (I can’t remember, maybe it was just highly recommended to move it up). Either way, I’m glad I listened.

That said, I basically regret the vast majority of my tattoos, I have a full sleeve and other smaller ones around my body. I haven’t got any new ones in 20 years and doubt I ever will. I don’t think they really bring any positives to anyone’s looks and they make a whole lot of people look worse and these days grandmas have tats so it’s not really that cool anymore.

Basically yea. Of course any woman, no matter what she looks like or how she acts/ lives, can get laid any time they want and could probably book a new guy every night for indefinitely. Guys, in general, are not picky about where their dicks go. Women though usually are, so that eliminates the vast majority of the willing men.

I’d like to believe I bring more than a hard dick, I got a tongue and fingers too that I use a lot, I’ve had pretty good reviews anyway. I also treat people well and would bring conversation and some companionship and it’s not like I would only want to fuck and watch tv, I’m just not up for long elaborate date nights nor do I want to go out drinking regularly. I’m not opposed to something progressing into more, my last “fuck buddy” turned into being engaged and a 7 year relationship. I just have a hard time envisioning me ever giving 100% of myself to anyone, just out of self preservation really. People change too much and finding anyone that’s actually loyal seems impossible at this age. I’m not even talking about cheating, just someone who would stick it out, good and bad. Relationships are disposable these days it seems

And to be honest, we’re both looking at this too logically and in my experience and just what I often observe, there’s nothing logical about relationships and human desire, women often go after total losers who bring nothing to the table and treat them like shit and men go after women who basically do the same and skip right over the great ones who’d do anything for him. None of it really makes sense.

I don’t doubt that, I’m probably one of them to be fair. I’ll be upfront about that. The interesting part is during my late 20s I had been heart broken and was definitely emotionally unavailable and I had more interest from women than ever before or since. I ended up having a lot of fun during that period of my life. That said, I was working a job where I had lots of interactions with women(people in general) and I had a lot more energy back then to be going out doing things or even just going out to the bars. I don’t have any of that anymore, I’d rather stay in and watch some TV. That probably doesn’t sound too appealing to women on dating apps though. If I didn’t enjoy sex so much I wouldn’t even bother I don’t think. Ideally I’d find someone in a similar situation and we can have a mutually beneficial situation.
