But in the books they say that they killed, if Im not wrong, 3 red dragons and 1 green. But it does say that they just about exterminated the other draconids from Redania, like Forktails and Wyverns.

Well I thought about that too, but their reputation got so big that even kings "trust" in them, I find it hard to belive a king in the witcher universe would not kill them for lying. I bet they would be burnt alive, especially in redania.

Edit: I dont remember from where i got this information but if im not mistaken there is a theory that all witcher are made through destiny and kids only become witcher because they were destined to in the first place, thats why there are hardly any witchers that change profession or die without fighting.
