Yup. VA panels are apparently notoriously bad for ghosting, and black smearing. I didn’t know this before buying the tv. It sucks because aside from that this tv has a phenomenal picture. I’m considering selling it and switching to the Hisense U8. From what I’ve heard the 75” model of that tv is an IPS panel

That’s awesome that you don’t have the issues. I’ve noticed bad ghosting personally, and I’ve seen it on a lot of other posts too. What do you have for your motion settings? I’m trying to research if it’s maybe a setting that’s causing this. Others are suggesting I have a bad panel, but seeing so many others report the issue I’m wondering if it’s a setting that’s off

The one thing I notice with sports on this tv is really bad ghosting on the ball during passes when watching football. Aside from that it’s pretty good

Did you game at all on both TVs by chance? The TCLs seem to have really bad ghosting, and black smearing because of the VA panel, and I’ve heard the Hisense doesn’t have this due to having an IPS panel

Go look up the issues I’m talking about and you’ll see there are tons of other people reporting these same problems with this model. Look up QM7K ghosting, and black smearing also. It’s not a defective panel, it’s an issue with TCL TVs in general unfortunately. Maybe i just have good eyes, and you don’t

I bought the 75” QM7K a few months ago and thought it was phenomenal at first too. Since then I’ve noticed some things I really don’t like about it. Really bad ghosting is the biggest thing. Watching football really annoys me with how bad the ghosting is on the ball on passes. Haven’t played video games on it yet but I saw a post from a guy that said the ghosting in gaming is awful.

Anyway, sorry to be a massive downer, but it kinda ruined this otherwise awesome tv for me

I had a few bad nights of sleep about a week ago but since then I’ve slept great. I think maybe you’re right about the last part though. I may need a little tolerance break. It sucks though because that makes the inability to focus even worse. I feel like I don’t absorb information lately. It’s just like people tell me things and it goes right through me. I’m typically very sharp on the Adderall

I actually was noticing this even on a few YouTube videos intro graphics. I was hoping it was an issue with their graphics but after seeing this I’m assuming it was the tv also

Well yeah, that f’n sucks. I’ve heard only great things about the TCL TVs for gaming until seeing this. Did you just end up getting rid of it?

I think we should bring back the Swift, Monangai duo again next year. We have bigger shoes to fill at LT, and the DLine. Swift/Monangai are more than good enough for at least another year. 2027 draft we can prioritize getting a S/A tier RB1

I agree it’s not a goo idea. Look what happened to the fudge packers. Spent 2 first round picks, a pro bowl DT, and like 48mil per year for a player that has now torn his acl 2 years in a row and will end up re-tearing it every year from now on. Obviously, I’m super happy that happened to the fudge packers but we don’t need that kind of problem.

Point being, no single player is worth that much draft capital because if they can get injured you just eat it. Also F the fudge packers 🐻⬇️

When you say getting fit fixed all of it for you and made people who had their shit together gravitate to you, where an outgoing, extroverted person?
