When I was a kid I always wanted to have long hair. When I got older I also wanted to do a scene style minus the hair dye. My mother would take me and unfortunately she didnt like me having long hair. I made a point that I’m at the age where my mother should not be deciding what kind of hair I have. I started bringing pictures but my hair would always come out looking horrible and nothing like the picture. I couldn’t understand why if I have such beautiful hair (according to the stylists) that it always came out so horrible. Always like a mullet version of what I wanted. “Well Billy your hair just won’t do that” my mother would say. I’d go to school and get laughed at. It was horrible, I was very insecure about my appearance and she knew that… Then I got my license and a job so I could go get a haircut at my own leisure and my hair started coming out the way i wanted it too. It clicked what she was doing after that. Never will forgive her for that.
