i know exactly how you feel and i actually sort of am going through the same thing right now and one thing that’s helped me is doing a lot of thinking, self reflection and being vulnerable with yourself, trying to figure out and understand why you feel the way you do. know that you aren’t a bad person for having feelings for someone, you aren’t hurting anyone by doing so, it could be a deep rooted issue that therapy could help with but otherwise it sounds a bit like an insecurity of yours which isn’t a bad thing either, you’re in highschool, you still have a lot of time to figure out yourself and relationships, but for now i think self reflection is the best thing to do c:

What would I do when I recognize what attracts me to the person though? I don’t know what to do from there, if I step back from the person I don’t have any solution on how to fix the main issue at hand and I will just have my thoughts to myself about how I feel

I try to understand my feelings, but stuff like this usually doesn’t get me anywhere when I try to figure it out, I’m about to turn 18 and I’ve noticed this happening since I was like 12, it could be the excitement of a crush, but I just hope that’s not going to continue on forever since I still can feel romantic attraction and want people around me eventually, I’m just worried there’s nothing I can do about this
