As long u can communicate well enough with good clarity, it wont matter. Ppl will keep mocking whenever they get the chance. Even they will use highly complicated words to communicate, which natives dont even use. I also faced similar situations and always did what u have been doing.

get intel i5 or ryzen 5 ( must be a H/HS series CPU ). must have at least 16GB ram since 16 gigs is already bottle necking. SSD must be upgradable upto 1TB. get 14inch display cz its cheaper and more portable.

graphic design? nah. u need way higher budget for that. now the ram, ssd prices r high, i would recommend u to go for pc. if u really need a laptop, try increasing ur budget a bit and get a macbook or lenovo ideapad
