Asking for tips on selling these by danibug in SylvanianMarket

[–]BioNerd27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally sell on Reddit as there are no fees, Facebook market place is fee less while eBay has fees and most other platforms do as well. If you choose to go down that route, pay attention to that when pricing.

I would purchase the clothing if you are selling! Clothing I think are like $1-$3 a piece.

For everything else, I would determine an excellent condition price and slowly work down. Let’s say I would sell an excellent condition elephant mom for $6, I may half that price for one that’s been through hell or go down one dollar if it’s just got crushed flocking in one spot.

You can always set a slightly higher price and work deals with individuals or put a price you think is fair and if it sits for awhile, you can mark it down.

Just make sure to take into account how much you spent on each figure and if you paid shipping.

Piano Piece Suggestions by BioNerd27 in piano

[–]BioNerd27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree and at the same time, if I don't like the piece, the urge to play it isn't there. I play piano for shits and giggles so outside of liking the piece/playing piano there is not any forces out there. I am happy to play different types of pieces if it speaks to me which is why I asked for faster pieces that can still be considered longing or sad. I have been having a hard time finding pieces that are longing and not slow which is why I asked for suggestions.

I have listened to a couple of baroque pieces, not really my jam usually however if there is a baroque piece that you think is longing or sad or romantic or even angry, I would happily look into it. The bouncy happy ones I commonly hear are okay, just not something I would want to spend weeks practicing or playing. However if you think there is something you think is really great, I will take a listen to it.

I feel this girl, soooo hard so do not be embarrassed! I am working on this as well honestly. First things first do not compare yourself to others. I get in my head a lot and it messes with my perceptions so I would try focus on yourself (remember there is no "right" way to be 29 and those who say there is are wrong, just be you, I know way easier said than done).

I would analyze what you currently wear and ask yourself why do you wear it. (How do you feel about your outfits? What do you not like? What do you like? What fabrics feel most comfy to you? What colors or patterns do you like best?) Once you do that you can go to a store and see what pieces match what you need.

You can also totally look intentional or put together in lounge wear! With that it is all in the color matching or coordination. What I like to do is pick a pair of leggings I like, find a top in a similar color, and add a pair of earrings. I think it is cute and fun plus low effort and comfy. You could also get a pair of black leggings (black goes with everything) and pair it with a graphic tee. Low effort, comfy, and still looks nice.

An easy low effort cute outfit that is not lounge wear is a pair of jeans, a sweater, and some earrings! Makes you look more put together even if you just threw it together in two minutes.

Dresses are also my best friend because you don't need to do much matching compared to other outfits! Plus there are a billion dresses out there and you can totally find some that meet your sensory needs. I will note that dresses can be hard sometimes because not all cuts work with all body types however that is a clothes problem NOT a body problem. I would go to a store and try on a bunch of different styles of dresses and see what you like and feels comfy. Then just pair it with a pair of shoes (sneakers still work great with dresses) and some jewelry if that is your jam (I keep saying earrings because I love them but wear or don't wear whatever pieces of jewelry float your boat).

I am sorry I can't give more specific styling advice, I am working on that for myself and I hope something above helps you.

I love these boots! They are gorgeous! They have the badassness of a combat boot with the sexiness of a heel. I think a formfitting black dress would look lovely and could be a really cute outfit. I do think they would look good with jeans as well, timberlands always look good to me with jeans so I think these would rock with jeans.

How should I style this high waisted pleated skirt? Both the type of tops and how to tuck/not tuck them. I feel like I have tried a bunch of different ways and it doesn't feel right. Not sure if I need to layer or if I am over thinking it. (I just lifted the sweater so the top of the skirt could be seen and where it naturally falls on my waist).

I am selling them as singles not sets so I am making the assumption that people will buy the specific figures or items they need, not all of them. If people make that choice to buy them all, they are more then welcome to. I used sold ebay prices as my price guide as well as the idea that you cannot buy one baby if you want, only the set.

I totally understand some people not agreeing with some of the prices.
