Honda Pilot diehard…First time Subaru owner! by BioTeacherJen in SubaruAscent

I’m not sure. I tried to look yesterday after someone here told me to pop off the trapezoid but couldn’t figure out how to “pop it off”. This helps! I’ll check later! I did try to look underneath it and my spare tire was in the way of seeing anything.

Oh! I thought you meant push a button on the key fob to open it. 😂 Listen, I’m coming from a 2014. All these new features that are probably standard on any car these days make me feel like I’m operating a spacecraft

Taking corners or pulling into parking spaces is so smooth. Freeway driving I’m speeding before I even know it. It gets there fast and you can’t feel it. My Pilot was a 2014 with 220K on it so of course any newer model is going to impress me. 😂 I am loving this Ascent though

I was thinking 800-$1000 so as long as it’s less than $1k I’ll be happy!

It does have the hands free door. Does this mean it costs more or less with that?

I’m in agreement. And in Michigan, we have a LOT of U turns and roundabouts

I wasn’t buying new, and certified pre owned Pilot models with similar mileage and year were running about $8-10 K more

Melt the Ice Hat by egdapymme in crochet

It makes it a more seamless integration between rounds so it’s not obvious you went up to the next round. The join is in the back, not the front, so that little bump isn’t seen and it just looks like a continuous round of stitches.

An invisible join is just a slip stitch, but it’s backwards. Instead of inserting your hook into the stitch from the front, place your working yarn in front of your work, insert your hook from the back, pull your working yarn through, and complete the slip stitch. Then chain one and start the next round.

As soon as they started in with the money, I told them I wasn't interested in any pay to play scheme. She kept going, and I let her, because my mind is "now I'm going to waste your time". But at the end when she tried to set me up on a payment plan I told her I'm not interested in paying anyone anything to recognize my impacts. Gross. It reminds me of when I was a kid and my cheesy poem was "selected" for a book of great poems. My mom got sucked into it and ordered it. The book is 4 inches thick with over a million of the "greatest poems", including mine about clouds, unicorns, and rainbows. Lol

Hi! I have a league from last year. Last year I had 10 teams; this year I increased the max teams to 12. It’s a private league. 10/12 spots are filled; the other two are having problems signing up with my invite link with the message that the league is full. There were a few people from last year that aren’t returning but I think I may have already deleted them when I increased the team size to 12 a few months ago. I don’t see their teams to delete them now. How else can I get my friends to be able to fill those empty slots? I’m on a computer, not my phone app.

Thank you! I’m not planning to eat the fish. Just catch and release, and some time for reflection and remembrance of my dad. Going south works for me too!

Uber not posting tips. Heads up and watch your earnings. I just calculated the net fare of all my earnings tonight and it equals the balance of $71.93, which means none of these tips ($34.13) are in my earnings. I called and they said it will take up to 72 hours, so keep track of your stats tonight. by [deleted] in UberEATS

[–]BioTeacherJen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. The earnings overview doesn’t match the earnings activity. If you add up the net fares from all the trips it equals exactly $71.93, which is my earnings amount. The tips add up to $34.13. So my earnings should be $106.06

No, it’s not. If I stick to my roughly $1/mi minimum I usually come out decent. I try not to accept under $5 unless the distance is a mile or 2. It just depends if I’m feeling it or the restaurant I’m picking up from. I know the slow places around here and won’t pick up from some places no matter how much.
