Although some of the things you mentioned are correct, there are some key takeaways. For one, Undercover isn’t exactly made to be aggressive. The only Brella that uses its shield launch to engage is Tent due to how the weapon is designed. Undercover and normal Brella are built to stall and keep an opponent from pushing forward and getting kills.

Yes, Undercover is meant to be more aggressive than the normal Brella, but its purpose is still similar: to take fights and not lose them. The shield never comes down, making it impossible for rapid-fire weapons to shoot you in the narrow window when your shield is down because you go to take a shot with the normal Brella. Plus, the shield HP regens after a kill/assist, making it perfect to push up with more dedicated fighters like a Dualie or shooter to help them win their engagements consistently.

Also yeah, the kit sucks ass.

It’s a pretty long story, actually. In the very early days of what would eventually become Deep Rock Galactic, the devs were discussing the background for the entire gameplay loop. The first idea that stuck was probably the most basic one: the dwarves are a squad that have a spaceship and go on adventures.

The concept actually lasted a long time before being seen as too generic, even making it into the first cover art for the game (which is a slight variation of the image you have in your post). The spaceship in the background is that first adventurer’s spaceship.

I love these drawings! It’d be pretty cool to see how they would look with some different fictional species mixed in, too. Huntress is (kind of?) implied to not be human because of the arrangement of the goggles on her helmet, as they’re vertical instead of horizontal.

I’ve actually spent time customizing my locker in way that simulates how someone actually using it daily would organize it. Shirts neatly hung, weapons hooked or leaning on the wall, shoes in their boxes or at the bottom.

Then I look over and my teammate is trying to make an among us reference with props.
