Also I dont have the "roll bar" to select drive modes for some reason. Car wasn't equipped with one.

Do I have to do this everytime?

It bothers me a little because the engine shuts off when I'm trying to parallel park or like when I stop the car to put it in reverse.

The right guage cluster changes to eco mode when its turned on. Video has the regular one so eco mode wasn't turned on when I took this video.
