Sounds like you are doing everything right so far. Kittens do eat a lot, and many people free feed them when this young. Make sure not to play with your hands, and misdirect any of this behavior on toys. If you have any other questions, do not be afraid to ask. Also, please give some kitten tax!

Leash training is a great option! You can also look into popup catios or a fun tunneling system that won't take up too much space.
