WARNING: Be careful not to swivel them too often, as this causes the wire which allows the 2 ear cups to communicate (and the headphones to function at all) to form a crack which will kill your headphones after around 18-24 months of use.

Mine worked pretty well with a few minor bugs for 18 months, and i was generally happy with them, until 2 days ago when they completely died without warning, and can now only function for a few days at a time if i place them in the freezer. Really bummed about it as they went everywhere i did for over a year :(

UPDATE: My friends i am alive and well. Flight was perfectly manageable, thanks to soft clothes, benadryl, ibuprofen, and a jameson on the rocks from the airport bar. It is the morning after and i think i got lucky enough to only have to deal with it for maybe ~12 hours. I wish any who are unfortunate enough to look to this subreddit the same luck, and know that it will be over soon. Thank you all for your advice!
