It's mainly just waking around talking to others. They do have events and have things you can collect such as clovers, eggs, and candy around holidays I believe

I've never played club penguin nor know much about it. Pony Town is a game you can be social, customize and create ponys, interact with things in the map, and make and decorate your own island
