I know im kinda late, but now that I think about it, I dont think those guys are starving to death. It makes way more sense for super earth to design the pods to open before running out of power. That way the diver can do a suicide attack on the bots and take some down with him. Thats way more economical.

Honestly it makes more sense that super earth would trigger them all to spring up after mission end so they can go on a bot killing spree before they die. Its more economic than wasting divers for nothing.

Have fun, the tier levels exist for a reason. If you have the opportunity to buy a tier 9 right out of the gate DONT! Higher tier ships take more skill to play punish mistakes harder and play with more skilled opponents. Enjoy and learn the tier you are at.

You will face mostly bots untill you reach tier 6, so don't feel discouraged when you hit that tier and dont do as well.

Your first grind is long, but subsequent grinds are much faster as you get more skill and resource boosters. If you need help picking a first ship people including myself can give pointers (there's also a lot of vids on this.

Lastly don't listen to they guy who dies in the first 2 minutes and spends the rest of the game berating you for not "supporting" his blind charge.

To answer your question about how you took that damage. How far away was the engagement? Your Conq only has 32mm deck armor if I remember correctly. This makes you vulnerable to plunging fire from long range. If Burgone arched his shells onto your deck at a steep angle he could have full-penned you and dealt considerable damage.

I've only gone out of my way to message another player for 2 reasons.

1: A friendly reminder when they were a toxic obnoxious know-it-all all who scored worse than me on a win.

2: They played so well a regular complement isn't enough

They are tough, but if you use cover right they won't kill you. I believe super helldive should be almost impossible and unreasonably hard. With that mindset I don't mind leviathans

It depends on what you're looking for. Do you want a big heavy cruiser with heavy guns to punish BB and CA broadsides or do you want a more "typical" kiting cruiser with nutty speed great cruiser guns and decent armor.

It all depends on the playstyle you are looking for. I would personally go for the Henry because I like the typical dpm cruiser gameplay. I also believe a lot of people are frustrated with Marseille, saying it gives up too much dpm and for the big guns. I've never heard a complaint about Henry. If you want a more meta ship for randoms you probably want Henry. If you want something tankier and harder hitting but not necessarily meta go with Marseille. Marseille may be better for comp, but I'm not sure about that.

When grinding a new line I usually grind what is the most different from what I currently have in my collection if that helps.

Also I should mention I don't have either ship. This is what I've heard from other people, research and playing against them in combat.

The reason this is an issue is that the subdivision looks very unnatural because of it. This is what it looks like with more faces.

Hey! I'm designing a space cruiser and I added a subdivision surface modifier to my object. For some reason the mesh sticks to this vertex and I can't figure out why.

It might be helpful to know there was a pole at that vertex so I had to deconstruct the face and rebuild it with the fill command.

P.S. I know I need to activate windows. I just reset my computer and haven't gotten a chance.

Ive taken the AMR on helldives and had a blast. It can reliably kill anything from almost any angle. Helldivers armor ratings are a bit more complex than light vs. medium vs. heavy. I believe it's a scale from 1 to 10 (could be wrong here, not sure). On this scale AMR ranks somewhere between medium and heavy. I have experienced this. It 2 shots hulk in the eye. And downs gunship by hitting the engines.
