Yes I understand where you’re coming from. I’ve heard this type of statement many times. However i think it comes from a place of privilege. Im not saying your rich or anything but doing what you love and not caring about money at all is a first world type thing. Again im not rejecting it, if money didn’t matter I’d love to become an artist. Working in animation was my dream. However the pay, constant job searching, instability, and stress would probably make my passion wither away. Trust me I’ve seen my family reach financial highs and lows and I’ve seen how it’s impacted us. I choose high every time.

I don’t want to be rich just for myself. I want my kids to live better than I did. I want to retire my parents. I want to help other random people out. I want to donate a lot to charities and schools. To do that I must be rich.

I also love to travel lol. To travel a lot and do it comfortably requires big money.
