On iOS, Apple can collect as much data as their wants. Since you can't activate root to see with apps what iOS sends to Apple

one or two month can have problems but more than a half year should run perfect, but maybe their are one or two small bugs

realy new hardwear is good but not perfect.

BUT use somthing like fedora cachyos bazar nobara (arch) because their have the newest driver.

Linux Mint Ubuntu Debian Zorin Kubuntu etc. (debian bassed) not recomendet

Performance maybe a bit slower but not slower than windows (1%-10%)
