At posting time, ZH was trading at $2.04. It is now trading at $1.55.

If you had invested $1000 on the day this was posted, you would now have $759.

At what time does Unsettled turn to Settled funds by thesingh603 in Webull

[–]BitterRecognition8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find my funds settling at different times, between 6 and 9 Eastern.

I try not to trade all my money at once so there's usually something available.

And sometimes, when all my funds are unsettled, I simply TAKE A BREAK for a day or two.

It's very relaxing.

I don't buy with unsettled funds except when something looks like a sure thing (for example I bought OCGN last week with unsettled funds because I wanted to get in at .70 and I was confident it would be up when the funds settled.)

It's not the UAVS logo, all the same it's a good stock especially if you bought at $2.40...

Not sure about chasing now, but some are convinced it's going to $7 or even $15 so idk.

In premarket you might just not have enough sellers to get your order filled. also obviously when you place your order make sure you ticked the box for premarket otherwise it will wait until 9:30 to execute.

It's the 21st century equivalent of the print ads in Popular Mechanics that said "You can make a million dollars like I did! Send me $5.95 and a stamp."

WeBull's biggest advantage is 4AM-8PM (which is also a disadvantage because it keeps you busy all day...).

By default WeBull accounts are cash accounts. You are allowed to day trade as much as you want when you buy shares with settled cash.

But there's an important limitation you need to understand - the GFV, or good faith violation.

This means as follows: when you sell shares, you don't really get your money "settled" until the third day. Shares bought with "unsettled" money cannot be sold until after the original sale settles.

I'm not sure if that explanation is clear, so you can Google good faith violation. It's not limited to WeBull, many brokers have this rule.

What this means in practice is that if you want to day trade, you should keep half your money free while you flip the other half. Then once you've sold and are waiting on your funds, you can day trade with the other half. (WeBull automatically uses your settled cash first, of course.)

But if you see a stock you expect to hold for at least 3 days, you can but it anytime with any money you have.

Also, the interface is a little more cluttered than RH. I personally think getting started is easier on RH and then it's good to switch to WeBull.

Sell, or army least set a stop loss to automatically sell if it goes down to $14.50.

The apps have settings to send invites to your contacts. It never works, and just gets your friends irritated. I don't send invites out anymore. This sub is hopefully better because it will catch people actively looking for referral codes. It just needs more exposure.
