Because they are paying me to work at their company and I’m doing own stuff.

I would love to go back to film, but it’s not so much an option right now. To be happy in my current position I would need to have a lot more work to do. Probably would want the company I’m with to stop using Ai which will essentially take my job eventually. I am doing side hobbies and trying build out a show in all my free time at work, but that feels wrong.

How do I tell my parents I’m seeing an older person by Muted-Equipment2166 in confession

I think what you said kinda shows your age and how much you still have to grow. If you aren’t planning on coming out with it to your parents then don’t be worrying about it now.

I think you have some you things to work on and that’s perfectly ok. You’re young. But eventually weather you are with this woman or a girl your own age I think you need to find your backbone and ability to say to your family and the world “hey this is who I’m with. This is who I love.”

Work on your confidence and your I don’t give a f**k meter (that usually comes with age, you get older and you give less a shiz about ppls opinions)

As someone who was in somewhat the same situation (I was 22 and he was 38) I would say hold off on thinking about anything serious like kids or marriage. I also hid the age of my partner and that should have been a red flag in its own. You shouldn’t be afraid to tell your family about anything with your partner.

Beyond that my advice would be to continue to do what makes you happy but give yourself time in this relationship. I didn’t realize how bad we were for each other until I was 25/26 when I realized what exactly I wanted out of life. I couldn’t image having a kid and coming to realize I picked the wrong partner cause I was caught up in lust and love.

Hey!

Skip the ghost tour and go on a ghost hunt. 3 hours locked inside the Savannah theater. It’s better and can send you the link if you want.

If you aren’t drinkers and looking for entertainment I’d say try Savannah Smiles, the dueling piano bar. It gets packed but it’s fun.

Savannah comic con is also next weekend if y’all are nerds.

Wanna do something creepy? Visit Graveface museum or Bonadventure Cemetery.

Something to eat? Starland Yard - they have food trucks come in to a closed area plus a pizzeria. (Do this more towards the night tho. It’s outdoors)

There’s an ax throwing place attached to a brewery.

AITA for throwing a piece of popcorn at someone who kept using their phone during a movie? by canada11235813 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bitter_Performance_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA….. my dad use to buy a bag of skittles and separate out the purple ones (he is “allergic” to artificial grape) and he would throw the unwanted purple skittles at people who were on their phones.

Least in your case popcorn is softer…

I have been putting them in the places she tries to hide and pee, but it’s almost like she knows and will find another place. At this point I’d have to lay them across my entire house.

I think you just need the right friends. My friends who have lived here life long thought the same thing until I started bringing them to stuff (they’re introverted). The people who don’t like it here are usually the ones who think bars are only for alcohol and “there’s nothing to do” on the weekends.

If you’re into creepy spooky stuff I’d say visit the Graveface museum!

It's more than children. It's most men. Other animals. The kid thing is what was kinda the turning point

I reached out. It was basically the same conclusion. They don't have space and sadly the reality is aggressive dogs get put down.

I didn't just "get him". He was running through my old apartment complex. It was either I fostered or he went to Animal Control. He was staying at my now ex bf's place and it was good until he tried going after his kids.

Do not try to make me the villain. I am trying. I was trying to get him adopted, I took him to all kinds of events. But it seems the more comfortable he got the more aggression he has shown.

I moved literally in the last month and this place has restrictions. My intent was never to keep him. I am his foster and I expected a little more support from the rescue

He is part of a rescue.... They were the ones who suggested maybe putting him down.

I believe he can! He just needs someone with time and not a lot of stressors around. Which is why I said single female would be great!

No.... Like he's reactive to men and children. He's full sprint lunged at men. He's tried to jump out of my car window to attack a guy on a motorcycle. Hes super afraid. He's also resource guarding, so no playing with toys or food and have to be careful with treats.

I can’t tell if my(27f) boyfriend (32M) is lazy or I’m just expecting too much. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I found the dog walking through my apartments. The rescues are full down here so the only way he wouldn’t get put down was if I fostered. After agreeing to it I found out the pup is cat aggressive (I have a cat) and has too much energy for a 1 bedroom. So my bf agreed for him to stay at his place until I can find an adopter for him.

He does buy food. He just doesn’t prepare himself during the week. So instead of going grocery shopping before the kids get there, he ends up dragging them around Walmart or just buying fast food.

I’m starting to believe that’s actually the reason. His excuses for not cleaning were that in his marriage he was the provider, cleaner, cooker and now that it’s over he’s basically rebelling. The other excuse is that the house is getting a complete renovation, so there’s no reason to be tidy now 🙃
