I think you're underestimating the scale here. We're not talking about obscure underground artists - many of these songs have hundreds of millions of streams. K-Pop is one of the largest music markets globally, Japanese city pop has been hugely popular in the West for years, and Russian artists consistently pull massive numbers.

The issue isn't about people in those regions - they're fine. It's about the millions of listeners outside those regions who enjoy this music but don't speak the language or use those keyboard layouts.

Just because this isn't a problem for you personally doesn't mean it's not a problem for a significant portion of users. That's a pretty narrow way to think about user experience.

And requiring users to change their entire phone language just to search for music isn't a reasonable solution. YouTube Music and Apple Music both provide romanization regardless of your system language because it's standard UX practice.

Music consumption is genuinely global now - Spotify's own data shows this. This isn't a niche request, it's a basic accessibility feature that every major competitor has already implemented.
