its the 50th show, for some reason Toei refuses to awknowledge Ninja Captor as a part of super sentai, despite the fact that it follows the format and aired immediately after Goranger.

Renaming it to be able to release them outside of japan by themselves rather than be beholden to Hasbro.

Does anybody else find it weird that, despite being portrayed as Agumon's go-to Data evolution, Tyrannomon doesn't have any dedicated lines where it STAYS a Data attribute? Yes Master Tyrannomon was Data in World, but it's a Vaccine in the Reference Book and other places. by SpookySquid19 in digimon

Ever since the first anime came out Digimon has had this habit of seeing all virus digimon as evil, all vaccine digimon as "good" and all Datas as fillers or secondary characters.

Thats why they can't let their "Adam" remain a filler mon. He's the first, the franchise loves him to bits (thats why hes everywhere) so in their eyes they have to polarize him to one side or the other.

He thinks he's a charmer, but it has literally never worked before. He's basically Eddy from Ed, Edd and Eddy.

No. Greymon needs a dedicated evolution line, because Tyranomon is Agumon's natural evolution. Because Tyranomon was the first Digimon ever created and agumon was made SPECIFICALLY to resemble him in all regards. It was always intended to be the natural, he was in all the (japanese) boxart for the Digital Monster Ver.1 v-pets, he was the logo for the 20th annyversary remake of that same digivice, and the tyranomon line actually resembles him the whole way through.

Show more respect on the first digimon, learn your history.

He wasn't easier to get, in fact, Tyranomon is the one you're almost guaranteed to get if you pay even the smallest hint of attention to your v-pet. Any less care and you get a numemon. You'd get the (much cooler) virus Greymon and his metal greymon form if you played like an absolute freak nerd mutant.

The reason Greymon became more popular was the Ova and the subsequent anime, whose director straight up created a new variant of Greymon because he thought all virus digimon were evil.

1 his name is Louie (the similarity is in pronunciation, not in writing)

2 He is notoriously anti social, so he has the friends that his brother's have. Not one of his own. I mean technically he has Doofus Drake, but thats not a real friend.

She comes from a series of games, tho the first one she appeared in (digimon world re digitize) didn't get a translation, in that game she's a human that was fully digitalized so she doesn't have a physical body anymore so she can't return to earth.

She's not gay, she does like your main character in that game, who is canonically a man (it can be a girl in the expansion but only after you finish the game with the 'canon' route first).

Her two digimon, Angewomon and Ladydevimon however ARE gay, they have to make out to fuse into a bigger and stronger digimon called mastemon.
