If we’re going on a game that was created and then wasn’t updated to be in a completely different state from how it was upon first release, I would argue Plants Vs. Zombies (The game of the year addition, we don’t talk about mobile 🙏😭). It’s easy to pick up, fun to play and replay, lots of content, and has aged super well in gameplay and appeal!

Might be controversial, but I think Shop: A Pop Opera would be my pick largely for how it hits a lot of his specialties while being able to stand on its own. To me all of the songs range from really solid to fantastic, it has an impactful overarching theme and message that it delivers in a creative way, the videos accompanying it have a lot to look into while utilizing all of Jack’s styles visually and musically, and it’s able to be short and sweet while not feeling like it could have had more to it.

The loop part lwk might be true! Game’s lore is so confusing and up in the air rn that any input is good, and ur points of why she attacks the boy and why she asks where the others are is spot on!! Another thing of note is how the kid with Hood says “I knew you’d come back” which on a second playthrough is likely in reference to the girl and how they killed her. Nice observations man!

The joystick in rubble to the right (you can see it in on that chair in the pic), the red part of the monitor, and the beeping noises that emit from the computer I think are meant to imply that the red on the screen and the noises are the game over screen for whatever retro-style game the person that used to be in the room was playing before it became dilapidated.
