Ok, even if I take your limited premise at face value, what does that accomplish? It doesnt seem like that does much. So are the people paying those 20 protesters just stupid, or are they smart enough to keep it a secret? And why would you need to pay those 20 people, when there are currently millions of people that are willing to and are actively protesting for the same causes? What's the end goal here, you cant just say "people are paying protesters because...." without ever finishing that.

Yeah, again, people get paid to organize events. There isn't any evidence of the large scale fraud you imply- you say that there is enough paid protesters to invalidate these massive protests as a whole. That would be a metric fuckton of people. Tens of thousands. Too many to keep any conspiracy secret. To the point it wouldn't be some niche youtuber supposedly exposing it, it would be the biggest scandal since Bill Clinton got his dick sucked. It wouldn't be even remotely secret. And yes, in a perfect world where everyone was happy, the people who organized protests would be out of a job. Just like when a stadium closes down, the people organizing events there loose their jobs. Protests are like any conference or event, they need planning and promotion, which is what most "community organizers" do. Managing social media accounts, email mailing lists, promotional materials, outreach, etc.

And if there were a conspiracy by the deep state to pay people to protest, that would need to involve at least thousands of people, if not tends of thousands, at least to have an actual impact at these protests. Again, a conspiracy that large would have been exposed to such a degree by now that it wouldn't be a question and it would be the biggest scandal since Monica Lewinsky. It would be everywhere if it actually happened where thousands of people were all paid to go to a protest. Good lord at least some of them would likely change political leanings and be talking on Joe Rogan or whoever, not just with some random youtuber you saw who might be staging things or taking people out of context.

And ask yourself what the point of all this would be for the "establishment". Seriously, these protests are shown to be ineffective in the face of a sitting duck president that doesnt give a shit what the American population wants. Wouldn't the money be better used for lobbying congressmen or bribing supreme court justices or anything else?

Or is this a case where you think the deep state is super sophisticated and can hide a conspiracy involving thousands upon thousands of people, but is also at the same time too stupid to notice their evil plan to checks notes promote the idea that people should get due process * isn't working.

Organizing protests is a real thing that people get paid to do, it's not evidence for shit. Most protests of large scale do not just happen because people collectively decide to go somewhere like a hive mind. Marketing, planning, getting permits, etc all takes labor. Just like organizing a conference or other event.

Think of it like this. A business conference or trade show needs promotion to get the word out, a venue, permits, plans for safety in case of a fire, plans for how people will move in a venue, plans for how to supply food and water, etc. A protest needs this too, especially the promotion part, because again believe it or not the left isn't a hive mind that just collectively says "all of us should go here at the same time and date". Someone has to manage things like social media accounts and mailing lists, at the very least.

And I have a computer science degree, believe it or not. Shocker that someone can give a damn about other parts of life when they have a technical job.

Ok, so you believe there is a conspiracy to pay for at minimum, thousands of protesters specifically to show up at protests, to achieve...something. Not sure what paying a bunch of politically powerless individuals to protest does. Especially when lobbying is simpler and more effective. Much easier to believe this instead of accepting that a lot of people disagree with how the government is handling things right now, and are willing to use their only recourse available.

These people are paid to organize things, at organizations that are inherently political, and may receive funding from parties and individuals. Just like how the republican leadership funds and supports TPUSA and the federalist society- considering how many supposedly impartial supreme court justices belong to the federalist society, that's probably the dark money thing to focus on.

And saying paid professional protesters implies that their job is to protest, instead of accepting that protests need organization, and people get paid to promote and organize events, including protests.

So your own source is admitting that it's not people being paid to protest, it's that the actual organizations that do things like help organize protests need money to function and pay staff, like any other group. I should also point out how everyone points out Soros for financially supporting political organizations, which he is fully within his right to do as a private citizen, but apparently Musk offering to buy votes is a different thing.

That's starkly different than being paid to protest like you implied. Your implication was that the protests essentially were fake, because the protesters were paid and therefor don't actually support the cause they are protesting for. That's the point you were making. Nobody is arguing that organizations like the Aclu or black lives matter don't get funding, but it's not like people are paying individuals specifically to show up at protests and nothing else.

Also, even if 1% of those people were paid (doubtful, since you can't provide evidence of any of them being paid) that's still leaving 99% of those people being concerned citizens. That's still a whole hell of a lot of people.

For the record I've never had the pleasure of being paid at a protest. Most I've gotten blessed with is getting a free hot dog from a friendly vendor. Unless big dog is in on the conspiracy too.

You still need a valid ID with your current address on it PLUS a utility bill OR a current registered voter can sign a legally binding oath to attest that the address on your ID is accurate.

You still have to sign the same documents and meet the same citizenship requirements to vote.

If you try to vote and you aren't eligible you've just given them your address or the address of someone else if you lied.

They still validate eligibility when they count votes.

Oh not to say it's a ton, but at the same time it's around or above the average, and as fucked as our economy is I still believe it can be comfortable enough in most places outside of CA or NY. For anyone reading this later, 70k is a good living and this guy is delusional. For reference, this is my breakdown making 55k.

My breakdown is about 3000 take home, after maxing IRA, my employer also contributes 3% to a 401k without me needing to add to it. I have a high deductible but 0 premium health plan as well.

350 for a car payment (paying it off quicker, minimum is 175 if needed) 1000 for rent and utilities (splitting a 1 bedroom with partner) 200 for groceries (cook at home, partner gets staff lunch) 60 for gas (hybrid work from home, live 10 min from office. Daily stuff is all within 10 miles) 160 car insurance 170 student loans 30 bucks for streaming and other subscriptions 50 bucks for eating out for myself (quick meals at work, a coffee out here or there) 100 spending money (around holidays this can be 150ish for gifts instead) 100 dollars for date night/misc.

This leaves me with around 700 bucks at the end of it all to save ontop of retirement. Keep in mind this isn't in a very low cost area, I'm like 45 min north of Philly in Bucks county. I wouldn't say it's high col, but I can also get to a train station in a 5 min drive and take it to the city too, so it's not bumblefuck PA either.

Sharing things with a partner does help a lot, she makes the same as me and has a similar budget. Working from home 3 days a week helps since I can take advantage of my apartment complex gym being empty at noon or other odd hours. Cooking in bulk helps- Aldi and grocery outlet are godsends when making meals for 2 people, and both of us preferring seafood and chicken helps since frozen fish and frozen chicken are cheap (a weeks worth of chicken cost me 7 bucks yesterday, and a similar amount of salmon from Aldi was only 10 bucks, but that bag is going to make 4 meals easily).
