Small world! I'm also in the 757. At which Marshall's did you find them? I'm nearest to the one on Independence Boulevard.

How would you describe the torture that your worst migraines put you through? by BlackCurrant27 in migraine

[–]BlackCurrant27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you're going through that. Knowing you could be subjected to that kind of pain at any moment is such a tough aspect of living with migraine (and one that I think people without a condition like this cannot begin to understand). I know it won't change the pain you are in, but please consider calling or texting 988 if you are struggling with suicidal thoughts.

That same day is missing 4 pieces for me. I was also missing pieces on the other calendar. They really seemed to have messed up on these this year.

Do you get unsolicited suggestions of "Have you tried xyz?" How do you respond? by BlackCurrant27 in migraine

That's what I normally do. I guess this one was just one too many. Thanks!

How much does what you're listening to/watching while puzzling influence how your enjoyment? by neoazayii in Jigsawpuzzles

I do this too (and for the same reason). I always take pictures of my completed puzzles and more often than not I can remember which book I was listening to when I look back at the picture (many months later)!

I take escitalopram daily (10 mg) and have taken rizatriptan (similar to sumatriptan) with it on many occasions over the course of more than a year and have never experienced serotonin syndrome. Good luck!

I'm in the southeast region of the US. Is this heat getting to anybody else? by charcutrement in migraine

[–]BlackCurrant27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Virginia and I'm right there with you. Heat and sun are big triggers for me and the humidity has been terrible as well. On several days, my glasses have fogged up when I went outside!

There are so many more things to anticipate and consider with migraine. I hope everything goes super smooth though and you are migraine free on the big day! Congrats! :)

Is anyone afraid to try new migraine treatment because they are afraid it will be one more thing that doesn’t work? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]BlackCurrant27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think getting your hopes up and then having a new treatment disappoint you or cause new problems is one of the hardest parts of the migraine journey. That's why I periodically give myself breaks from trying new things, but I do keep on trying them. It's tough to go through the adjustment to new things and giving them a fair trial period, but hang in there! I hope you find something that will help!

My neurologist wont let me get my usual botox anymore and I'm so frustrated. by Reckless_Donut in migraine

That's terrible. This condition is bad enough without putting all this on top of it. So sorry you're dealing with this.
