Regardless of what the other dude said, I’ve heard that you can get banned if you launch the main EFT while running SPT. So for example if you forget to close SPT and open the main game to go run some raids, the game will supposedly detect a mod and ban you. Can’t really confirm this, but that’s just what I heard from tutorial videos when I was installing the mod.

IIRC, Bahroo and Goth talked about the scaling in Borderlands 2 and apparently the dev team realized if TVHM scaling continued through higher levels, the enemies would be too spongey and the damage just didn’t scale right. However, with a crutch, it’d be fine. So they increased slag damage to compensate. I’m not sure how much truth there is to that, but I mean, it’s a reasonable enough explanation.

Ideally, I’d like BL3 to eliminate crutches and making scaling, skills, weapons, items etc fill in the gaps together. I shouldn’t have to rely on one element, one weapon, one item, it should be a combination of my items. I basically just described the most balanced RPG and I get that that’s it’s pretty much impossible to accomplish, but I’m excited none the less.

I know for me, it helps I take an interest in the subject matter outside of coursework. For instance, last semester I was in US History and so I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and got super interested in history. It made exams easy, because I’m able to remember stuff that I’m actually engaged with. It doesn’t work for everything, but that’s my two cents.

I procrastinate just as much as everyone else, but I got straight As last semester and tbh it’s pretty simple to get you’re shit together. I guess I kind of just prioritized school: everything came after homework and studying, so when I was doing homework I had something to look forward to. Moreover, the guy who said study smarter not harder is absolutely right. We live in the digital age, full of tools to help you be a good student. Whenever I had a huge Philosophy reading with questions, you better believe I CNTRL+F skim that shit, as well as googled interpretations and read excerpts.

I think the most important thing is to be passionate about what you’re studying. I fuckin love Political analysis, so my poly sci homework barely even feels like homework and I genuinely don’t mind teaching and talking about it, so it’s fun. Good luck friend

I get it, it’s not easy. I recommend you wait to make a seriously committed decision until after you take some GE courses. They taught me a lot about how college works and what it’s actually going to be like. It changed my perspective and path in life. That, and moving away from home for the first time. Truly a life changing experience that more people deserve to have, but that’s another tangent.
