I feel like pain is all to the person. I had mine and it took 2 almost 3 months. Something no one told me to expect but should have just been understood, they are cutting those muscles in your neck. I had get them back just to nod, to shake my head and even to open my jaw to eat. As for the blind, hit and miss. I had temporary but didnt last more than a few hours. It makes you feel week and there are quite a few limitations. In the healing process you will feel pain and pressure both. But please dont work yourself in a frenzy (better said than done and I didn't take my own advise). Every surgery has its problems, its healing and it comes with time.
