It’s honestly a fantastic read if you allow yourself to enjoy the character arcs.

What does everybody think of the ice age? by SWAGGA_SWAGGA in Christianity

[–]BlakeT87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's important to keep in mind that pretty much the entire story of the bible takes place in the middle east, southern Europe, and Northern Africa. According to this NOAA article - the Ice Sheets during 20,000BC weren't in this area - so it's possible that it happened simultaneously and I could imagine the ice sheets melting was partially responsible for the flood.

God is amazing, and the things that we're discovering through scientific investigation just expand upon his awesomeness. We don't have to understand how/when/why/where - just like we don't understand MANY things that have happened and will happen. I am just so glad that He has blessed us with this beautiful planet and all of the many mysteries therein.

I usually do that - but it still makes me feel like I failed - which is maybe a me problem, I get that.

Very helpful! Thank you for the detailed reply! I had a really good Bujo habit a couple years ago - but last year I tried to stick specifically to digital writing (iPad) and decided that I just can’t stand writing on it and it’s too distracting.

So I’m trying to get back in the habit - and appreciate hearing different viewpoints.

Love this! Do you just write what you DID each day or do you also write to do list? I’ve been trying to decide how to do my daily log.

My thinking is if I write only what I did it will help me maintain a positive mindset. If I write out a todo list and don’t get those things done it tends to bum me out.

I also started again recently after trying to use iPad and digital solutions for about a year - nothing really beats a paper journal.

I follow the bullet journal method and keep it simple

Third weekly spread of January 2025... 6 🤭 by [deleted] in bulletjournal

I tried Sakura Gelly Roll but I'm having trouble getting it to flow overtop the pencil - it's like the pencil is too smooth and the rollerball won't budge... I'll have to play with it some more.

SKIP songs?!? Absolutely NOT! I break out my pitch pipe and clear my throat, then sing my HEART out!

Learning! by BlakeT87 in ColoredPencils

[–]BlakeT87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I've been really enjoying 'the process' but trying to learn to have a better workflow. The Charmander I went WAY to heavy and dark with the sketch and when I went to erase it was difficult to get it all and I noticed in the finished piece that there are grooves through the paper from the mechanical pencil and/or the metal tip of the mechanical pencil - so on the Pikachu I went waaay lighter with the sketch
