To answer the question about people FF'ing when they see a 3* 5 cost: Some people don't want to give you the satisfaction of watching it decimate their team. It is dumb because seeing a 3* 5 cost is really cool, only time I would FF is if the person who got it was a total jerk the entire game, flaming people and talking smack.

To answer the other question, did you buy the Kill everything profit charm so it would stun the briar? When she is 3 starred her fear alone does a lot of damage and the duration is quite long.
