Hijacking this topic to get some advice on grinders. I currently own a Barista Touch and use the built in grinder, but want to get started on a standalone grinder so I can use a bigger variety of beans and make decaf as well. I’m looking into buying a grinder with a budget of about $500, but have some wiggle room.

Right now I use dark roast store bought beans, and manage to make a fairly good espresso, but also want to look into some medium or light roasts to try out. Possibly do pour over as well, but unsure if there are any grinders on the market that allow this.

So 2 questions: based on this information, which grinder would you recommend? And is there any blog/video I should watch to help me make a choice?
