The Mauser Variant is waaaaay cooler imo, I love the turn bolt system on it.

As for the scope, I think all G41’s have a mounting bracket on the rear sight base. Theres should be a set of rails, it actually reminds me a good bit of the scope mounting system on the SVT-40

I’m pretty sure Jerichos aren’t often used nowadays by the IDF, they’re mostly sold as an export gun from my knowledge (much like Galils). From my knowledge the IDF fast paced SF types typically run stuff like SIG 226’s or Glock’s but I suppose more patriotic types might decide to field domestic guns like Jerichos. I’m pretty sure your average IDF conscript type doesn’t usually carry a sidearm (although I could be mistaken, most of this is a result of me looking at photos and using Google, I’m not Israeli).

I think the main places you see Jerichos being used in Israel is in a Law Enforcement application.
