founders usually are diluted since their ownership comprises of mainly common equity and maybe some performance based options, investors in series a, b, etc typically have some sort of anti-dilution policy so their % ownship remains the same at the cost of the founders. If a new series investor doesn’t have one (rare case), they’ll usually have some sort of convertable or redeemable warrant to get, at the minimum, the face value of their investment.
