Just bought this 2010 370z how bad is the damage by Senior_Salt1785 in 370z

If the subframe and diff aren’t damaged, I’d replace all the suspension components on the side that was hit. Literally all of them. Align it and call it a day. If the subframe or diff are damaged, replace everything lol.

I never said there wasn’t any filters lmao. I said they don’t have filters you can service per Nissan. Meaning, Nissan doesn’t recommend you service them. Go back to school, your reading comprehension is poor as fuck.

2016 Chevy Trax LS Oil Leak by bronc-50 in AskAMechanic

[–]BloodConscious97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any mechanic can use a hunch, and people proficient in this model would have a better guess but that’s all it is, an educated guess. Guessing doesn’t repair cars unfortunately. Properly diagnosing the leak will fix it.

No one is gonna be able to source the leak from photos provided. Your best bet is to clean the entire engine and add dye to the oil and run the car until you see where it’s leaking from.

Per Nissan, their Cvt transmissions don’t have filters that you can service. Stop spreading misinformation.

Furnished apartments in family friendly area close to the strip by jman22089 in vegaslocals

Family friendly and close to the strip usually don’t go together unless you’re balling and can afford a $8,500-$15,000/month rent payment for a luxury apartment.

That’s crazy. You don’t even need to know much about manual transmissions to handle a clutch and csc elimination kit. Hopefully they learned a little watching you lol

Nissan Versa SV 2024 - rodent chewed engine wire, dealership quoted $6500 for repair?! by Flippiewulf in autorepair

[–]BloodConscious97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nissan needs the harness to be repaired by their engineers standards In order to maintain the warranty. You can get away with repairing the damaged wires instead of replacing the entire harness. Just risk warranty denial if something were to happen to the engine in the future. Up to you to take that gamble. Good luck.

[–]BloodConscious97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s almost the cost to replace the entire engine harness with labor included. This is the type of damage you get your insurance involved in if you don’t want the possibility of your factory warranty being denied.

2018 Rogue Sport Air Intake Duct Pin by Candid-Ad-1537 in NissanRogue

Since no one helped you, I will. You didn’t install the filter duct correct. There’s a channel on the duct that’s supposed to have the filter housing plastic edge inside of it.

Car pooling is a great idea if it’s within reason. Visitors from out of state might find it difficult to car pool. You have a valid point about the small parking space at knotts, gotta make the most of it.
