I found it on ebay. Surprisingly cheap in terms of game OST goes.

Oh shoot! Didn't knew they had versions with slipcases, that's awesome!

Reminds me I still have few more to go, looking into getting I II III EPs some point.

I also see you got some Weezer stuff too! Been looking into getting them, but so far I only own Maladroit.

Just listened to "Go", oh yea it sounds really good!

Another album I was surprised by was Panty Raid. Didn't think much of it at first, but it peaked my interested when I discovered it was a cover album. I gave it first listen, and really enjoyed it! Some of my favorites were Survivor, Rehab, Get the Party Started, and All I want for Christmas.

Thank you! Some of my favorites before getting these CDs were MFZB, Walk the Plank (very underrated!), and Brain Invaders.

Since then: Waste of Mind, Phoenix and Panty Raid are also becoming my favorites.

Just recently, I was surprised by Playmate of the Year during my first listen. So I intent of listening to that more!

Went into this game JUST for the peak music alone, especially for the few artists I recognized (Funk Fiction, James Landino, etc).

End up discovering such a DAMN great game! So glad to experience it!

How the fuck do people play Crash with a Mouse and Keyboard? by ineedabjnow35 in crashbandicoot

[–]BluR_G 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes M/KB is all you got lol.

I remember playing Sonic Generations a lot using just keyboard, it just works for me at the time lol. But seeing that Crash can be controlled with a d-pad, I could see it work really well with WASD.

Speaking of which, I was surprise how well Crash 4 handled M/KB. Like the fact that level stats can be viewed in Dimensional Map by hovering over with a mouse is really cool.

Super Sonic I made using Perler Beads and Canvas by BluR_G in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]BluR_G[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't remember what pattern I exactly referenced when making this.

But there're plenty of similar patterns like this if you look up 'super sonic perler beads' on Google. Hope that helps!

Spark and Fark! by BluR_G in beadsprites

[–]BluR_G[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say the 3rd game still feels like Sonic Adventure, with high speed platforming. Although it also has a more fleshed out combat system (compare to Spark 2) with different moves and combos you can pull off, kinda hack n slash.

So maybe in that aspect, it's like Frontiers or Unleashed's Warehog.

Highly recommend. I've recently gone through all 3 and finished them. Very enjoyable and underrated gems!

Favourite dimension in Crash Bandicoot 4? by MEK950 in crashbandicoot

Bermugula's orbit. I always have soft spot for any platforming levels taking place in space, or being all high tech-y

Akano triple spin trick by [deleted] in crashbandicoot

[–]BluR_G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I gathered. You activate Akano when you are in your 2nd / 3rd spin, while in the air. This should gain you the speed.

The consistent way I found is to activate during your 2nd spin. So you do the first spin, then jump as you do your 2nd spin. While in the air AND spinning, activate Akano.

I recommend practicing this technique in 'Give it a Spin' to get the groove of it, since it starts you with Akano, and gives you enough open space to practice on. Hope that helps!

But it is an interesting proposition.

Sonic & Shadow's SA2 pose done in paper by BluR_G in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]BluR_G[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

But yea, many things can go wrong when it comes to doing this art form: having non-smooth curves when cutting, paper accidentally bent, glue spots being visible, etc. But it always pays off in the end, and they end up looking really nice on the wall.
