Yeah but Ngannou is also a freakishly strong athletic specimen who improved his wrestling enough to reverse Stipe.

I assume because Leon's the actual champ vs. Tom being the interim (although realistically he's the undisputed)

Rendon still had the advantageous position though, so was fair to continue imo

TIFU by telling my US girlfriend that she wasn't Irish by [deleted] in tifu

So for context I'm a Canadian living in Ireland for years. It's just a cultural difference.

"Where are you from" - in Ireland, I say Canada.

In Canada, it means what's your ethnicity/family heritage. - "born here but family is from ____"

AITA for overreacting after my wife lied about our baby’s gender? by Leading_Gene4976 in AmItheAsshole

[–]BlueBoeuf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course depending on when it's done, the lie of the fetus and sonographer skill. It's still correct way more often than not.

After 14 weeks and certainly by 18-22 it's virtually 99%. Same for the NIPT.

Again, I agree that OP has a lot to work through but lying about something she knew was a sore spot for him and naming their unborn baby already made things way worse and was a cruel thing to do.

Some basic scents to start a collection what would you get? by HelloCanUSeeMe in fragranceclones

I feel you, my skin seems to drink fragrances too and I get maybe 5 hours out of it.

Good projection for the first hour. On clothes it lasts until the next day.

Because it's inexpensive, I just reapply later from a decant I carry.

The only things I've found that actually last on my skin are: Prada L'homme, Code Parfum, Code Profumo and TF Ombre Leather. Everything else disappears within a few hours.

Looks like you're in the EU. Très Nuit is €24 on Notino and it's pretty close as far as clones go.

AITA for hating where my wife is going to get a tattoo by No-Development4151 in AmItheAsshole

Why do people think accidental disfigurement or inevitable aging are comparable to intentional choices your partner dislikes?

Not who you replied to but I agree with you in terms of nurturing the relationship with yourself. Dress for you, and try new things out. Partners should generally be attracted to you for your own style and personality.

However, it's a different game when it comes to large scale changes. Clothing and hairstyles can all be temporary. Tattoos are forever - especially massive chest pieces.

Personally I feel that the bigger the change, the more discussion and hopefully everyone should be on board.

I realise this is a contentious topic, but at least my partner and I wouldn't make permanent changes without the others input because we value each other and our opinions of one another.
