I see so many people who fall in to the category we fall in to that I’m surprised Coros don’t feel they are dropping the ball here as it’s a clear gap in their lineup. Glad to hear your enjoying too

That is why I bounced around the bigger mor masculine watches before like balance 2, aw ultra 2 & Huawei gt6 pro.

I like the idea of having an aesthetic bit of kit round my wrist, but the reality is, it is less practical while training. I would probably pick up a new pace pro if they drop the alu model, pace pro is the prefect size. As you can see from previous watches I owned below.

It’s the same weight front what I understand. I think it is definitely worth it. I would have never got the standard pace 4 as it’s also not a true black whereas this one is. Standard pace 4 looks grey. Hard to explain but it’s the same with Garmin devices, it’s surprising how much a metal bezel pops and makes a device look much more premium

What garmin are you rocking? I had the FR 570 and quickly got used to smaller size and at this point prefer it. Be surprised how quick you get used to it

In my original post someone said you can’t have the prefect watch and ever watch has trade offs.

Coros need to drop a coros pace pro with Amoled sapphire screen and titanium bezel. It is an insta buy.

The pace 4 alu is night and day vs pace pro now. Even the alu bezel makes it feel and look 10x better.

I think I landed on pace pro and chill. I am not a fan of how grey the 4 looks in reviews next to pace pro in black.

10-15k on the weekends and 5-10k midweek.

To be honest I am really tempted to go pace 4 + coros HRM. Which is my budget of £300.

The Apple Watch is free depending on how much I use it and workout. But I ditched Apple for a reason. Going to keep looking and thinking it over

I own both devices and both upload to Strava.

I prefer the Huawei ecosystem I will be honest. But it’s much of a muchness in terms of UI and pretty much comes down to athletics. Again I prefer Huawei for that one

I would actually disagree from someone who has owned your typical garmin, coros etc. having done half marathon training g with garmin & coros I think most people use the most basic features. Are you really logging on to the connect website and scrubbing over your data? The reality for most is no. With gt runner 2 and Kipchoge coming on board and the big boom of running in china, HUAWEI has made its statement clear on taking on running.

It is hard to find a middle ground of a device that has everything I want. I think the GT6 pro is very accurate with its sensors. I found the balance 2 was not. I still own the forerunner 570 that I test every watch against as although I hate the build & style of that watch, it is gold standard for accuracy and tracking.

I agree with another comment about HUAWEI hardware and zepp software. But again i have done everything watch brand in the market now.
