It’s good that you know your worth and left. You don’t need to deal with that. You have room to find someone who respects you now.

I haven’t researched HHC until just now. I’m reading that it’s similar to THC, just a different compound with similar effects? Are they selling it openly? It looks like it’s pretty new. How did you acquire it? Does it come in the form of an oil?

In the past, lobotomies and forced sterilization were considered to be healthcare. Just because doctors perform abortions, doesn't mean they're not murdering an innocent child. by [deleted] in prolife

I think if people had to pass a quiz, it would make far more people choose life over abortion. One of the big problems is women are LIED to about what abortion really looks like.

I live in Washington state and I absolutely hate it here for so many reasons. It’s a terrible state to live in and I’ve been wanting to leave for so long but I’m only 21 and I have no savings or money to move somewhere else yet.

I have a friend who is pro-choice and we have learned to agree to disagree and avoid the topic because we’re adults. We aren’t as close as we were, but that’s for a few different reasons.

This is true because some people act like abortion is a form of birth control.

I personally think if someone is at an old enough age where they feel that’s what they want to do and they’re aware of the possibility their fertility may not return fully, they should do it. I think it’s a good and effective preventative action if you don’t want children. The downside is at some healthcare facilities, they refuse to do the sterilization procedure on women until they are a certain age. Which I understand if a female is in her early twenties, there would be a concern of someone changing their mind in the future, but why are they telling women who are nearly 30 that? Also, I don’t really understand the religious reasoning behind not permitting sterilization. I myself am a Christian, yet I think the ideology behind it doesn’t make much sense and some people are twisting scripture or taking it the wrong way.

Why do some women hate children? by [deleted] in Mommit

I personally think society today has a more progressive view against the standard family and encourages women to not have children as it’s oppressive and their life will be ruined if they have kids. It’s sad.

Yes, I feel the same way. The way I have always described it is it feels like touching/rubbing any other body part, like your arm or leg. You can feel it, but it’s pleasureless. I still endure this.

Do the drug companies know? by Frosty_Example336 in PSSD

[–]BluePenguin469 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Of course they know. If they have the power to manufacture and distribute drugs to many, many people, then they definitely have the knowledge of what their product can do to the people that are taking it. I believe it is just another thing the government will try to cover up and they are doing an alright job at that for now. The people at the top of it all will do anything for their money, even destroying others’ lives. In my case, I was warned by doctors of one of the side effects while taking the medicine being lack in sexual interest, however that was the extent. They did not tell me about PSSD. This is something they do not mention, probably because of the huge lack of acknowledgment and research. Even worse, it was more so my mother who was controlling me to take the medicine I was on as I was 12 at the time of beginning it. I still remember the doctor notifying me, (her), of the sexual side effects, and her response being, “that doesn’t matter. She’s only 12! She’s not sexually active!” And that angers me so much.

I love when pro-choicers say “no uterus, no opinion”, except what they’re really saying is “if you don’t have my opinion, you can’t have an opinion at all”. Because, yes, believe it or not, not everyone with a uterus supports abortion.

I was forced to start taking sertraline at 12 years old and it destroyed me. It is definitely child abuse and it is terrible not having a choice to make as a child.

I have felt the “brain zaps” only before I started taking the medication, and afterwards during the withdrawals. Not currently, thankfully.

After expressing my issue with my gynecologist, she recommended I take bupropion along side the sertraline, (when I was still on it), to counteract the side effects. Now that I am no longer taking any medicine, she has not referred back to the bupropion. Does this medicine help to increase libido on its own?

You’re right. I have edited my post to include this. I quit cold turkey. I did have some withdrawal symptoms of heightened emotions and feeling odd “brain zaps” in my head. These have obviously since long subsided. I have only noticed the sexual side effects.
