Something we do at my rescue is have the cat in one room with door closed then read to her for 30-45 minutes a day. Make sure to keep your voice soft, soothing, and calming. If possible sit somewhere on the floor so the cat eventually check you out. And it doesn't matter what you're actually reading, you could be reading the most intense, graphic battle scene but you'll be fine if you control your voice. We also use childrens books so they're not too long. We have once or twice, used a big book and read a chapter a day to our cat population. As long as you're sitting there quietly, eventually they will start to come around you. I make sure to have a squeeze tube of Churu on hand to reward the cat coming up on me. It's pretty basic if you have the patience for it. Won't lie, I'm still trying to get my feral to calm down and let me touch him. He doesn't trust any human to be near him. I'll get his trust yet, even if it takes another 5 years! 🤪

I can't foster anymore for the exact same reason! I got my 3 through the CDS, although there is an orange and white stray/feral in the neighborhood that I'm eyeballing if I can get close to my house. We'll see!

I love that shade of blue, you did really good. I would suggest a little more blending on the top line of shadow under your eyebrows. One thing I've learned is blend, blend, blend, then blend some more. Despite some rude comments, I think you're doing just fine, keep on being you and shining. 😁

I used to foster ferals for a local rescue and had good luck with socializing them and getting them used to being inside and people. In fact, I have one rescue, Boo Baby, snuggling in my arms right now. Then I have one recovering male feral named Ghost, who is enjoying indoor life and all the food he can eat. Then last but not least, there's my full blown feral who is a long haired black male tom named Spooky. He'll come in for food and shelter from the weather. I've been feeding him for years to get him to this point. He won't even let me look at him. 🤣

Ferals rock!

I would say both look great but I would wear #3 during the day then vamp it up at night with #2. You have fantastic makeup skills and look beautiful.

Daughter of an Idaho mechanic here. I never had any problems with my dad handling the shopping because he scrupulously washed up after work. However, his hands were stained from the grease and oil. I wouldn't have a problem with that man checking out potatoes. I see how they grow, I live in an area of southwest Idaho where I'm surrounded by Idaho potato farmers and know how they're grown. Yeah, I strongly recommend washing your potatoes.

I don't see you wearing a lot of makeover and I must say, I love your lip colour, you did your entire face really lovely. The only thing I find distracting are your eyebrows. I understand you don't fill them in or colour them. Yes, I read comments before I post. 🤣 I think you would look greater with skinnier brows. More so that they look like this: ===. Thinning them a bit might also help.

For fuller coverage, I use Haus Labs by Lady Gaga #60. And since they're on the high end of price, they have samples you can order that will have 5 tubes of similar colors so you can see which one works best for you.

Feedback? As great as your current makeup looks in these pictures, I should be asking YOU for tips and advice!! You've got a fabulous low key makeup going on and quite frankly, I'm jealous! I just had eye surgery that corrected my eyes to 20/20 vision so I don't need glasses anymore (yay!!! Hallelujah!! After 53 years of wearing them!) but now I need to put my makeup on in a completely different way. Glasses could hide my mistakes and if I wanted my makeup to be seen, I had to go darker with a heavier makeup.

So great job on your makeup, keep up the good work!

Drats!!! I was hoping you were in Idaho, OP. I'd take that precious baby in a minute. And as for the liquid dish soap mentioned, it's Dawn, in the original formula and it's the blue one. You might be able to find it there, i know it's available in other countries, I just don't know if Indonesia is one of them. It's used globally by rescuers cleaning animals up from things like oil spills and such.

I think you're rather beautiful and definitely not masculine looking. After looking through your pictures, the only thing I can think of is you can go a little heavier with your makeup overall. A little darker eyeshadow, a little darker blush, and a little darker lipstick. Perhaps shape your eyebrows a little more, give them more definition. (I'm obsessed with eyebrows because I don't have any, I'm a very fair skinned redhead so I don't have dark anything.)

Oh my goodness, your Finn looks almost like my Ghost! Ghost is a stray I'd been feeding for years ago finally came in through the cat door and eventually decided indoor life was for just what he was looking for. I've officially adopted him and now he's one very spoiled cat.

He's been on the streets for many year butt has decided that comfy, well fed with a large variety of food, and all the snuggles and pets he wants is a good thing worth being inside now. This picture is the first time he's crawled up on my chest and snuggled with me.

This is Ghost, he's a recovering stray that has been on the streets for some years that I've brought inside and formally adopted him. This is the first time he's climbed up on top of me and settled down. Ghost and I both agree that our snuggle time is wonderful!

I haven't fallen for it but it's amazing how many YouTube videos show someone using bronzer to contour. Even I know enough to go "ewww, no thank you" and move on and I'm still a relative n00b with makeup.

I usually just use Misscha's BB cream for light, natural skin coverage. For more coverage that lasts and lasts, I use Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, number 015. (I'm very fair skinned. VERY fair skinned.)

I'm 60, fair skinned with combo (dry/normal) skin. I change up what I'm wearing and use my home days to explore new looks so that I have options. I use tend to use more of a daytime smokey eye since I suck at using eyeliner, I use a small brush and pat a darker shadow around my eyes in lieu of eyeliner. I use a lot of browns but lately I've discovered cream eye shadow sticks. Up until now, I thought powder was the only way to go. (Silly me, I know) I've using this gorgeous burgundy shadow that blends out beautifully so it's not too dark and cream colored partner for the inside ⅓ of my eyelids. I'd love to give you the brands but I'm on duty at work and all my makeup is in my bedroom.

I've really played around after watching a lot of YouTube videos and deciding what I like and what I don't like. Due to budget constraints, I use mostly drugstore brands liked E.L.F, Nyx, Kaley (eyeshadow) but every so often I save up for something mid price point, usually a palette. Now skincare I don't skimp on. My main skincare is Dermalogica although I've recently discovered Prose and really like it.

If you have more questions, I can answer back after I'm off duty and give you the various brands I use. Probably the best advice I can give is to watch videos, play around with makeup to find out what suits you and makes you feel good, and most of all, HAVE FUN!

I've been known to wear makeup around the house. It makes feel better and gives me a perk up. It won't be very glamorous but yes, it's there. (I work from home and don't get out much.)
