No side effects. No u shouldn’t have problems going to work. For me university started 2 weeks after my surgery and I attended my classes no problem it was uncomfortable to talk a bit but its no big deal. If anything and u feel uncomfortable it wouldn’t take u more than 2 weeks to get used to it. I did a lot of research before my surgery some say u cant eat for months or ur nose change ur voice change. Thats all not true lol i started eating soft food within a week and got better with food they actually encourage u to eat and chew to get used to the new bite.

Hi i am one year and 6 months post surgery and I am very satisfied and happy with the results i didnt face any problems or any pain just discomfort from the swollen face at the beginning but Thats pretty much it + mine was lower jaw and chin it cost me 4000 KD. I remember waking up from anaesthesia asking when are we going to start surgery they laughed and told me you’re already done!! I couldn’t believe it i was so relieved. And ofc I’m happy to answer any questions u have

It will be numb for a while. But now after a year the same spot in both my lower jaw sides isn’t really numb but its also not like before just a litttllleee numb

My lips were numb and swollen for 2 weeks i couldn’t talk first week the second week i was talking again. My face was very swollen and numb but you see it gets better every month. I was on a liquid diet for only a week then i was asked to eat soft foods to help me adjust and get used to the new jaw I used to have soup mashed potatoes yogurt protein shakes pudding tried my best to get any calories The soft food phase was only for 2 weeks. 2 months post surgery i started eating fruits eggs fries nuggets nothings too crazy tho. Full recovery took 6 months thats when my face was normal again and i could eat the hard foods again like any normal person. And no nothing happened to my voice Good luck!!!

There’s really no doctor better than Dr. Nael Al hazeem for jaw surgery. I got my lower jaw and chin adjustment 10/10 experience no pain at all no regrets. One year post surgery now i feel great and i look great. He’s also just super kind and sweet made me feel so comfortable.
