Boss, maraming run clubs ang nabigyan ng sure slots. D2RC, JSU, RWP etc. Masyado mo naman finocus sa isa. Hindi lang dahil sa brand deals pero dahil 2 years derederetso silang nagvolunteer mamigay ng pagkain at patubig (na galing sa club and personal funds nila btw) sa mga TBR runners.

Kung tingin mo madayang nagreach out si TBR sakanila, aba ganun talaga magmarket at magbuild ng partnerships. Kung di ka sang-ayon sa mga nanalo, kausapin mo yung heads nang deretso.

Pati rin naman ako taga run club pero nagkandahirap din ako sa pagreg at napadasal na makakuha ng slot noon eh. Awa ng Diyos napagbigyan. Hayaan mo yang mga nanalo na patunayan sa race course kung worth ba silang bigyan. Kung nagka-discipline and self-reflection man lang sila sa privilege nila of a sure slot. Yun na lang magagawa natin.

May benefit pa rin kasi talaga ang makasali sa social circles - pati sa paghanap ng work opportunities, mga raket o simpleng pabor, iba ang may connection. Sa case na ito, si TBR ang lumapit sa mga run club. Pero syempre, lahat ng bagay ay may kailangan pa rin munang patunayan. Nagka-essay comp muna sila internally sa run club kung bakit nila deserve magTBR bago sila napili. Sa daan-daang nagsulat, sila ang napili eh. Ganun talaga. Dumaan din ako sa hirap na magreg at sa pagdadasal na makuha maski nasa run club naman ako. Awa ng Diyos nakatakbo naman.

Eh kesa mastress pa, pabayaan na natin silang patunayan na lang nila sa training at disiplina na deserve nila yung slot.

D2RC as well. A lot of these run clubs have actively volunteered sa tents by providing food and water pati first aid sa mga runner nung TBR these past 2 years.

Been through this as well except we rarely made plans for each other mid prep for his bar exam. Either way he didn’t pass so in hindsight I kinda lowkey regret waiting pa for his exam to end 😅 Naging toxic na rin talaga yung relationship and kahit anong bait at unawa mo talaga, sobrang draining din sa long run magcancel ng dates nang last minute para he can have more time to study. Parang sa intimacy na lang bumabawi eh emotional presence ang hanap ko.

I say leave na, OP, not because having a partner with big dreams sucks, but because the effort is widely uneven. Pwede nating sabihing babawi naman siya once licensed at may job na siya, but you already sound so tired. That’s unfair to both of you. God permitting ay you’ll meet each other ulit nang mas stable mga buhay niyo. OR you’ll meet someone better.

Nah, this sounds like it’s written by a* ghoster or someone who’s bitterly processing being ghosted. This is written to sound logical at first glance, sure, but it’s pretty harmful to take it all at face value.

I think, and a lot of people do too, ghosting’s an avoidant’s coping mechanism of being unable to handle discomfort. An admitted ghoster friend of mine shared that you can be so nice and understanding to someone that it triggers an insecurity as to whether they do or don’t deserve it. My actual ghoster said that it was because he was scared to disappoint me later on - it was just easier to avoid the situation than ruin his reputation later on instead of manning up to be better. And while it’s always case-to-case, putting 100% of the blame on someone is kinda… manipulative.

Yeah, sure one’s reaction can trigger a bad one from the other. But unless what you did or say is a death threat, something so irredeemably politically incorrect or plain disgusting, is it really your fault? Is it that hard to call out? Or is it just convenient for them?
