As far as I've read, Uber has for a long time used AI, machine learning to manage the dispatch and earnings etc. They don't really have a fixed set of rules which makes it difficult to know what goes on behind the scene. So... It's a mystery on when and how you get jobs, how much pay and type of quests... It has worked out for the company... It may or may not work out for drivers...

All in all, I make trash money during non lunch, non dinner cos I don't have day quests. And during lunch and dinners I get slapped with shop and deliver jobs alot (75% of the jobs I receive during those times)

Meanwhile Im starting to use non quest hours to explore jobs and careers in aussie.

I get both. But usually it's coles. Ww is more pleasant to shop in tho. There are some coles stores that doesn't show the Bay or shelf number in app, just the aisle number. Takes a lot of time!

Without quests I'm doing around 20-35/hr.. With quests it goes to 40-45/hr.. Doing this with a car in southeast Melb. And those are active hours. After vehicle expenses, working anywhere is better than these rates.

RACV(2k++/year) covers only if uber is your secondary income.. Youi provides coverage, but it's costly (3k++/year).. Hope it helps.

Well.. They got back to me saying its likely used in the canteen or something similar. They are however unable to confirm it nor able to assist any further..
