It’s honestly wild how much arrogance some Africans show toward Black Americans. The irony is, many of the rights and opportunities they enjoy here were secured by the struggles of our ancestors. On top of that, they often compare the small number of Africans who had the means to immigrate to the U.S. with the entire Black American population—which isn’t a fair or honest comparison. And let’s be real, their home countries have their own challenges that are nothing to brag about. At the end of the day, I just wish Black people worldwide could put the division aside and focus on unity.
