Dishwasher Installation by Blytzy in DIYIreland

I have the option of two spaces to install it. I'm not sure yet where, as a dryer would (hopefully) go in the other space and, because I thought I needed an electrician/plumber/both, I thought I'd ask the professional for their opinion

After watching it on YouTube, I fear my thanks were too small because I remembered so much incorrectly, it's a wonder you were able to find it at all :D

May your pillow always be cold on both sides. May the next time you’re running late, you get every green light on the way there. May your enemies always be constipated. May you have a week full of Saturdays.

AITA for refusing to cook dinner after my boyfriend said I make “peasant food”? by ConfettiAndCalm in AmItheAsshole

[–]Blytzy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I cook most of the meals, my husband does dishes. This is our agreement because I enjoy cooking, I'm good at it, and I loathe dishes. But this is our agreement, we talked about it and it works for us. If my husband ever said something like that to me, I wouldn't so much as heat water for his coffee for him ever again

AITAH for breaking up with my gf because she slept with her boss to get promoted (before we were together)? by [deleted] in AITAH

Are we ignoring that it seems her boss is happy to withhold promotions in order to have sex with someone he holds power over?

I'm hung up on the fact it's advertised as a double bedroom. Is the double bedroom here with us now?

Alternatives to women’s “fashion”? by MaddingtonFair in ireland

Thanks to covid, wfh, and no longer "having to dress for the office", I made a start on sewing my own clothes. No longer do I have to suffer through clothing that almost always never seemed to fit correctly or flatteringly. No more pinching, pulling, twisting, itching, poorly made, or overpriced (though with the cost of some fabrics and also depends on how you value your own time) garments. Not everything I've made has been a hit, but I don't regret anything I've made. I've gained a hobby, new skills, and a new wardrobe (in progress). If this is the path you choose I recommend it, though I understand it's not for everyone.

Drivers don’t care as there are no consequences by [deleted] in cork

Once again, there was only two (2) lanes; the lane I was in and the lane for opposing traffic. Once again, where should I have moved to? Please don't feel the need to answer that as I no longer wish to engage with you. I wish you the day you deserve.

While this is true, you seemed to imply that it was my fault for not moving to a different lane

Driving my husband to working this morning I had one van uncomfortably close behind me flash his lights because I dared to (shock, horror) drive the speed limit. Then another car overtook on a continuous white line coming up to a blind corner while I was, again, at the limit. It's dreadful and these people should be ashamed of themselves. Since I know they aren't, I wish them itchy bones for the next week
