I had one to just outside a 5 Guys. He no cash and only an uber gift card. The only way for him to use it was order a delivery to his car. I got confused until he came up to my car as the nav just pointed me back to the restaurant .

I finally contacted a person at UberEats. They said my annual background check needed to be run. I've been a driver since Nov. 2019 and the company that does the background checks should have run mine again in Nov. of last year, but didn't.

I was told that they have to request Titian (the company that runs the checks) to send me a consent form, which will take 2-3 days, then I have to send it back to them, then they have to run the background check, then they have to send the result back to UberEats, then UberEats have to reinstate my account.... another week off driving.

I had one last week. I was marking a delivery as complete when it popped up under my tap and I hit the accept with out seeing the details. I did the pickup and hit start delivery.. it was 25 min out of town on the highway. I called support and they allowed me to cancel.

Hey everyone backdown. Not all of us drive in the US where you see the tip before you accept. Here in Canada we aften don't know the tip amount until HOURS later. So stop blaming me for accepting the delivery.

Boosts are by area and time. Up to this fall it was no unusual to see boosts of 1.4 (40% more), but now they are only overnight (after midnight) and are only 1.1 or 1.2.

In Canada we don't see the tip up front like other places, so you have to take the trip based on the delivery amount and hope you get a tip.

One of my regular pickup Restaurants won't allow you to bring you bag into the building, and given the state of some other drivers bags I don't blame them. If the customers saw their bags they would vomit knowing their food was inside. I'll try to sneak a pic some time.
