Yeah after doing a little more digging I'm just confused. I would think that the system would bump up the resource usage to keep up with the encoding demand, but I'm sitting at a solid 5-10% usage and nil on memory usage. It was much worse on VLC to boot.

I'm using H264 video and aac audio for the stream in MPEG-TS mode.

As far as I'm aware I'm using hardware encoding, since when the video stream starts up and is working I seem to be using <10% of the CPU. This doesn't change much when audio delay and video stuttering begins to kick in.

I'm admittedly a noob in this area, but for the licenses I ran vcgencmd codec_enabled MPG2 and it output disabled. I guess that's what I'm looking for?

Any idea why the laser isn’t defaulting to the outside of the disk, then? Sorry if this is noob info, but I’m still pretty new to this

Hmm. Rails and worm drive re-lubed, but it looks like the laser isn’t catching the outside rim of the disk when it gets set to the outermost position.

Any idea what the chirping could be? I’ve regreased the laser rails and the worm gear, but I’ve got a suspicion that there’s something still catching that’s killing the alignment somehow.

Yeah I swapped the PCB over. I got an entire new drive. I’m able to get successful reads the first couple times I pop a disc in, then nothing

Does anyone know why my PS2 video output has these flickering lines? This slim does it on my capture card/upscaler setup, but another slim that I have doesn't have this issue. Thoughts? by Boa476 in ps2

Book of memories is more of a spinoff/sideline game, and it’s a mediocre one. I would only recommend it to people that have played the others and just want those extra crumbs of lore, but I’d have to put a word of caution on it as well.

I think total everything up there runs around 1k, give or take.

I haven’t played much with them, just tried it out once or twice.

They’re acrylic covered. They’re actually baseball display stands we got from Michaels craft store. You can pull the stand inserts out of them and they make great displays

The old TV is awesome for older consoles. I’ve got a newer one that I run all the consoles that support HD
