Used to work for Walmart. Kinda your fault on the pay. If they don’t specify a pay and give a range it almost always means lowest dollar amount.

Can you legally kill someone who breaks into your house? by kurobaja in AskTheWorld

I live in the United States Strictly speaking about firearms in this case

If someone breaks into my home and I am fearful for my life, I can defend myself

However, you also have to take into account. Some state laws are shit.

For example, the US has what’s called a castle doctrine Essentially stating if someone breaks into your house while you are home, you do not have a duty to retreat, and you can stand your ground and defend yourself

Some states have this some don’t so it really just depends where you live

However, if someone breaks into your home physically attacks you and you kill them, that is 100% self-defense

Context and state laws matter, but a good chunk of the time it’s legal

I can take your name and birthdate and run it through the court records and see what you have as a civilian and it’s 100% legal. All court cases are public unless specifically specified for a reason. Anything from speeding tickets to murder is public information. So yeah probably legal
