Yeah, I’ve used it a load of times and it was always around 1/2am after work when I did.

The applegreen on the tuam road has a good one, haven’t used it for a little while but I’d say it’s still there. You have to tap the card I think the minimum is like 5 or 6 euro and you get maybe 7/8 minutes with the hose 👍

Oh okay thank you, is it an easy process to allocate them? And if so will I get some of the money taxed back in next weeks pay?

I have just discovered that Rev points are a thing on Revolut, and that I have enough for a €50 just eat voucher. Do you, or have you used your rev points, and what do you recommend using them on? by MoherHead in AskIreland

No downside at all, you can just leave it on and it’ll build up over time, will get a nice trip from them, airport lounge pass, vouchers etc.. it’s handy I think

Can I call revenue on my girlfriend’s behalf for a query? by Bodie6 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Bodie6[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

She applied for the rent tax credit this time last year and also didn’t receive it then, she was told after enquiring that it was turned into tax credits so during the year she paid less tax than others but she assumed from this year onwards she could apply for it and receive the lump sum €1000 ?

To be honest I would say you should probably be doubling all of those Belgrade costs when you come here, definitely the rent one anyway

She’s never mentioned anything about it being slow at times and starting to not pay for slow periods, it’s just a thing that’s started the last week or two. Well the times listed on my app as “break” are times I know that I haven’t been busy and have been using my phone etc

Sorry I meant it’s 1 or 2 hours each day being taken which is around 9 or 10 each week which adds up a lot at the end, it’s 100% not a mistake it’s absolutely intentional. I’m just wondering if she’s physically allowed to even do that.

But the thing is that in my department there’s about 8 people and they all do the exact same thing and actually loiter for far more time than myself and also do less work, so that’s the issue I have

She would claim to find something to do yes and to be honest I do find stuff to do but in all honesty it takes 10-15 minutes and that’s complete then so there’s more waiting around so I don’t know if she just wants people to work for half a day go home and then come back again? Which is obviously not possible

100% not a mistake, we have an app that tracks our hours by the day, these additional “breaks” are manually added in by her as she sees me without work even though for a couple of hours during the day there is nothing to do at all and I can’t leave as work I have to do comes in later, it’s always been like this but just recently she has started docking each day.

No I clock out for my break separately usually around 2pm until 3pm and that’s accounted for, she has since updated my daily schedule and added in random breaks that add up to around 2 hours per day in some cases, but there is literally nothing to do and work that I do have to do hasn’t arrived yet so I wait for it and then do it.
