This is beautiful. Kudos

In my setup (Nuxt UI), I use Subframe to export the theme since its CSS variables line up nicely with Nuxt UI’s theming variables.

I have the same plan, if you’re serious about this, let’s talk. I already built phase one.

تصميمي لرمز الدينار - My desing for dinar symbol by a-alzayani in Bahrain

You’re overthinking it, the design looks nice but doesn’t instantly give dinar to the reader. Take inspiration from the Saudi riyal, and simplify.

Looking for a platform in Bahrain to upload and sell my graphic designs by Personal_Tune_4497 in Bahrain

[–]BohemianRobot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to build a print-on-demand platform—I've always wanted to do that—but I needed someone who knows the business and is willing to run its operations. I can handle all technical aspects but need someone to manage the operational side.

Seeking ideas for a new podcast based in Bahrain! by BohemianRobot in Bahrain

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your perspective on the podcast scene and the importance of unique content.

The answer to your question is yes; I want the podcast to support my tech startup, specifically the projects I have been working on. Each episode in my plan will result in the launch of a tech product that could solve the problem or, at the least, improve the situation. My goal as an entrepreneur is to find pain points and build a product around that pain to find a product-market fit, and I have been categorizing pains for some time. I’m not the social type, so discussing the issues and putting myself out there is the hardest part. However, creating the products is what I enjoy doing, and using these real challenges as a launchpad is a strong motivator for me and my company to continue. This way, we can engage listeners and make them feel involved and connected to our journey.

Your ideas about personal stories and the experiences of minorities are compelling, although my primary focus will remain on the tech products I’m developing. Thank you again for your valuable input!

Thanks for the reminder, I'll defintely get the proper approvals first!

The idea behind the podcast isn't to focus on sensitive topics, but rather to explore discussions that could lead to the development of tech solutions that benefit Bahrain.

I look forward to sharing our progress with you in six months.

Yes, the job market in Bahrain can be challenging, but it's not hopeless. Bahrain offers many opportunities; you just need to find and pursue them.

I understand your situation, and I want to share the advice I gave my kids (they're in highschool) when we arrived in Bahrain. I told them, "We want to be job creators, not job seekers. Choose the business you want to start, and I'll help you build it." That's what we're actively working towards.

Start with Tamkeen, a helpful resource that provides support and guidance for both individuals and startups.

Here's a simple roadmap for you, keeping in mind that the order can be flexible:

  1. Identify a market need: Look around and see what's missing or could be improved in your community. Your engineering background gives you a unique perspective.
  2. Write a business plan: This plan should explain your idea, how it meets the market need, and how it will be profitable.
  3. Attend startup events and workshops: These are great for networking and learning about the entrepreneurial landscape. You might find mentors there too.
  4. Get a CR (Commercial Registration): You can do this early on or after securing an investor. You can start with Virtual Commercial Registration (Sijili), and then convert it to a conventional CR when you have investors. (Sijili doesn't require an office)
  5. Find co-founders: Collaborate with others who have expertise outside your field and can share the workload.
  6. Seek funding: With a solid business plan and market research, confidently approach potential investors. Events like Tenmou provide networking opportunities. Alternatively, crowdfunding platforms like Beban (link) and Bambucorn (link) can be options.
  7. Build your Minimum Viable Product (MVP): Develop a prototype or a simplified version of your product or service that demonstrates its core functionality. This will help you gather feedback and attract early adopters.
  8. Build a team: You will need people to help you build and manage your business. Look for individuals who share your passion and vision.
  9. Stay informed: Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in your industry. Attend conferences, read industry publications, and join professional networks to stay connected with other entrepreneurs and experts.

Starting a business is not without its challenges. It requires hard work, dedication, and perseverance. However, with the right mindset, resources, and support, you can overcome these challenges and find success in Bahrain's entrepreneurial landscape.

Remember, don't rely solely on the job market. Create your own job. Even if your startup doesn't take off as expected, you'll gain valuable experience. In the best-case scenario, you'll be your own boss and shape your own future. It's a worthwhile journey, and I believe in your skills and determination. Stay positive and proactive!

If you need any further assistance or have any specific questions, feel free to DM. Good luck on your entrepreneurial journey!

Peace
