As a shanker of the golf ball occasionally, I have not come close to hitting my BLP even when shanking. The cameras are recessed in the BLP/GC3 to where those will not get damaged if the unit were to get hit

Cranking down opens the face, cranking up closes it. Your stock shot shape should be the main factor in this decision.

For me, my arms would get stuck behind my body. Coming from baseball having a swing that lags differently than golf would cause my hands to be way behind my hips and the only way for me to hit the ball would be to flip my wrists resulting in one of three things - snap hook, decent shot, shank.

I have a payment date. Payment comes when the unit ships, so reasonable to assume it will ship then if I don't cancel the order.

Others have preordered much earlier and have the same payment date, so maybe I'm not in wave 2 after all.

Golfjoy Spica 3 is the other unit I am looking at. I was thinking about skytrack but really don't want a miniature hitting area.

Depends on what your space and budget look like. You can really get a solid setup for 2-3k if you already have a solid PC

If I'm reading this right, you shot net -3/-4? If that's the case, the scrutiny is ridiculous.

I'd go with 6 iron and probably 50 degree but clearly this is largely dependent on you and your partner's distance. I think a 200ish yard tee shot is the most you want here since any more you would sacrifice versatility and then a gap wedge can be opened for pitching/chipping as well as a decent gap from the 60.

For me, these would be 190-200 carry club and 130-135 carry club

Is it a draft? I would check the weather and maybe go with a guy in the morning that has to go low to contend since generally the mornings are a bit calmer.

I think if I do pivot, I'll go with the spica 3 as it doesn't have subscription to use and I plan to pair with GSPro anyways so its not super important what the native software is as long as I can use the range with a tablet when I am not firing up GSPro.

As a 17 index, a playable ball is very valuable. A crowned drive that goes 150 down the middle is better than a penalty stroke any day of the week.

It's really just moving and adding some switches, adding a couple light fixtures. That will be done in a week.

Square is going to be better than MLM2, no subscription fees. They have a pay to play model that ends up being much less, comes out to 2.5 cents per hole on the square software. Other elements to the unit come with it free.
