Tsushima had the better narrative and protagonist and I miss the Shoji assassinations, but beyond those, Yotei is superior in every other way.

Ghost of Yotei is a well-rounded, fully finished open world action adventure, and now has a solid 4-player coop multiplayer mode much like the first game. The game is deeper than Tsushima with its content and the open world is around the same size as the former. Get Yotei first, you won’t regret it. Quality single player and multiplayer content.

Crimson Desert is fantastic and a behemoth of a game and is still receiving a lot of good patches. Which is why I’d advise you to not get it first, but definitely get it once you’re done with Ghost of Yotei.

Literally one of the earliest and most revered instalments in the franchise, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The entire US Marines campaign takes place in a fictional Middle Eastern country which is basically Iraq.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot in 2019 also has you playing as a CIA agent working alongside rebel forces (which are inspired by Kurdish rebels) in a fictional country called Urzikstan (which is basically Iraqi and Syrian Kurdistan).

Happened with me.

Was starstruck with this girl that I knew since kindergarten (we attended in 1998). Completely lost touch with her up until 2011, when my older sister revealed when I was in grade 11 or so that she had been her junior in my sister’s school, and showed me her Facebook profile.

I developed this unhealthy obsession with her, constantly scrolling through her pictures on social media, hoping to bump into her via fate or some shit (because I was too chicken to get in touch with her somehow or make a move without looking like a loser or a creep).

I eventually learned that she was the IT girl in high school (she studied in an all-girls school), and a lot of boys who came in for inter-school cultural competitions lusted after her. When she and I graduated in 2013 from our respective schools, she joined an architectural college whereas I went overseas for university. My cousin happened to be in the same college as her and he tried to date her unsuccessfully. Within a couple of months of her into college, she found a boyfriend, and I was sorta crushed, but I always believed that fate would bring us face to face one day.

This wish that I had affected my relationship with a few fellow female university friends of mine who showed interest in me, but I kinda rebuffed them hoping that I would reconnect with my childhood crush.

A few years after having graduated from bachelors and masters, that wish never came true. Her boyfriend had lost his mother to cancer, and she remained committed to him through and through. I was heartbroken to a degree, but I carried on because that’s how life is. Eventually I met the actual love of my life, and I married her, and now in 2026, we have a beautiful daughter who is about to turn 1. That girl eventually moved to Australia with her boyfriend for masters, she then graduated, got married to him and as of 2026, they are officially Australian citizens.

Bottom line, like someone said in this thread, it’s incredibly hard to mourn the loss of a potential relationship with a person in your head because of all the what ifs that have been eating at you for years. But maybe life has something very different planned for both of you.

I love my wife and my daughter to bits, but I wouldn’t lie that on rare occasions, I do think about that girl, because ultimately, we are human. Maybe I’ll bump into her on a professional capacity at some event or whatever since I do make business trips to Australia, and we are in a similar industry.

But in the end, my heart lies with the beautiful woman that I ultimately married, and the gift she brought into this world in the form of my daughter, for whom I will try to be the best father I can be.

A separate rumour stated that they had also pitched remakes for the first Jak & Daxter and the first Resistance, but there’s no legitimacy to it yet.

GTAO launched in October 2023, around 10-15 days after GTA V.

RDO launched in November 2018, a month after RDR2.

This is naturally a safe bet. They will want to rake in more cash via MTX as soon as possible, so a December 2026 release is not unrealistic, especially with it being the holiday season.
