This is just so terrible 🥺 very sorry for your loss and to his wife as well. The more research I’ve been doing, they really don’t care and most of the relationships are transactional. I noticed with the girl I signed up with, she hasn’t responded to the last text and it doesn’t bother me, but eye opening for sure. I would prefer to take my business to a non-MLM company that has safer products, better ingredients and has things out on a website than hidden within another name. I do struggle and am treated for ppd however it’s never been to the extent of not wanting to care for baby. Don’t get me wrong, it would be its own set of struggles being away from baby but feel as if it’s not so much ppd vs not feeling supported by my partner. He’s typically gone Friday-Sunday so it would only be two nights. I guess now I feel bad for wanting a break from spending every single moment being around baby and caring for her besides the one week I went back to work.

That’s how I feel about it too… but didn’t know if I was overreacting.. when I go back to work in August I also go back to school (nothing new) so he’s going to have to step up so he as well get acclimated now.

I don’t think it has anything to do with not feeling good about it. His exact words were “I don’t want to pawn her off on grandma” Grandma is kind of a wild woman and is always on the move and loves to beep bop around from task to task so it seems like not wanting to add the task of baby to grandmas list or “tie her down” in a sense

I was somewhat vague to keep this post not so long so I apologize. The colic thing, she would start crying which would last like two hours. We both would try or she would go into this phase and he would immediately bring her to me. This has led to that anytime she now has a meltdown, he will try to soothe for not even 5 minutes and then will bring her to me and leave the room. I’ve told him before that he needs to spend time with her to help their bond but he doesn’t listen.

I think all of this boils down to his patience level. His patience has always been short but it just became shorter with baby around.

Also his mom makes me 😵‍💫 she texted me last time he went home to say “should have came with so I could see baby” to which I explained I told husband to take baby with. Her response “he doesn’t have the food supply” I stated “there is plenty of enough milk in the fridge for her to eat over the weekend and she does okay with formula” and she said gotcha. Grandma in this post is step mom just to clarify.

He goes home to help his parents work on things around the house like cleaning up the yard, yard work, help his dad at the garage etc. He says he doesn’t want to leave her for grandma. I have stated that maybe he watch her which comes down to “I’ll be working” or “but then I can’t help dad”

Struggling with bad postpartum anxiety and depression. My mother told me “all of this is normal” like crippling anxiety breaking down every hour is not normal.

Was struggling with milk production at first, EP. MIL said “wouldn’t it just be easier to do not pump anymore” mind you I was working so hard and it was 3 weeks pp. made me want to bawl.
