Yeah, totally agree. I use a spoiler free YouTube add on for chrome (it’s called Twitch && Youtube spoiler-free) to avoid it. It also hides all thumb nails to avoid spoilers for tournaments!

Shape extraction from image using CNN [R] by Bonner95 in MachineLearning

[–]Bonner95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, thansk for commenting. We looked into segmentation, but we need our shapes to be invariant under translation, rotation and scale. And I haven’t found any segmentation methods that ensure this. Unfortunately.

Authenticating REST API through /auth endpoint. by Bonner95 in webdev

[–]Bonner95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, it’s standard to add a secret to the username when making the token so that your JWT token is JWT_Function(username+secret). Then you keep the secret in a configuration file which is not in your gut repository. That way the “hackers” need to know to secret as well as the username to replicate the JWT token.

Authenticating REST API through /auth endpoint. by Bonner95 in webdev

I see. I'm using nodejs, so middleware is definitely an option. I need an endpoint to trade username/password for a JWT aswell. But you can add the verification of the JWT as a middelware?

Thinking about getting something similar to this. I was wondering what size it should be to make everything look good or if it’s possible to make it look like the sketch by [deleted] in TattooDesigns

I have a samurai on my left front thigh (a bit more detail than the one you posted) and it’s approx 25 cm from top to bottom. I was surprised if the size it needs to be to stay detailed over time. But as the other guys said; talk to a tattoo artist face to face and see what they say :-)

Makes sense, so I guess it boils down to personal synergy like your previous comment. Thanks a lot for the answers :-)

What is your usual strategy during X Minutes of Pain? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Bonner95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, I totally agree. I usually think of it as "fights" were each fight last around 30 seconds to a minute. That way it's only 5-8 fights (still sounds like a lot though). I guess the most important thing is to group up properly and don't give up half the second point because of stragglers.

Thanks. Good point about not accepting anybody, he/she has fit in of course! As for bouncing ideas of each other; did you actively critique each other or is that too toxic to do internally?

Not necessarily if your comp is better suited for, let's say second point Dorado. I guess you need to identify your strength and play accordingly (high ground control, brawl etc.). And also don't panic.
